Came to the place with no reservation on the Saturday evening, 10 minutes before opening, was very lucky to be let in. So I highly recommend to book in advance, on the busy days. The food was amazing, and the service was quick, with a unique historical atmosphere. There is no dress code.

Nice Trattoria Ambiance. I didn't book in advance but the man at the entrance kindly took a quick booking for 2 for 20 minutes later. I took the Carbonara and the Home-made Gnoccis. It was the best way to finish my trip in Milano. I recommend as it is very typical and delicious .

I’ve been to Milan three times and every time I have come here. I make a reservation and the experience and food always are a highlight. They do sit you right next to others as the space is small but it’s always a unique experience. I can’t wait to come here again!

Very Traditional old school Trattoria in the Center of Milan. You must book as it’s always busy. Great lively atmosphere. We were served by a very friendly and professional waiter. The Risotto Milanese heady with saffron was perfectly cooked as a starter, my friend’s had Tagliatelle with fresh artichoke and Vitello tonnato (Traditional thinly sliced veal in a tuna fish sauce) to start which they said was delicious, mains I had their delicious tender veal in breadcrumbs, ossobuco with risotto and mixed fried fresh offal in sage and butter sauce which were both full of flavour. House crème caramel and fresh wild strawberries with ice cream. Two bottles of a very good Barbera, coffees and grappa ended our most delightful meal. 85 euros per person we all agreed for the good service large portions and high quality Milanese food was the right price. Highly recommend!
